Job Summary

• As a Captain (Pilot in Command) for Izy Air Limited, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of operations while maintaining strict compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.
• This position requires excellent leadership skills to manage flight crew activities and prioritize passenger safety and comfort.
• Communicating effectively with relevant authorities and making timely decisions to ensure safe flight are important aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Assume authority as Captain and oversee safe and efficient operations in compliance with aviation regulations and Company policies.
• Lead and coordinate flight crew and cabin crew activities and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control during all stages of flight.
• Conduct preflight inspections to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
• Make informed decisions to ensure flight safety and passenger comfort.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or any related field.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
• Learjet-type evaluation is considered favourable.
• Need to be flexible enough to work from any location (including Abuja, Lagos).
• Minimum of 2500 hours as Pilot-in-Command.
• Over 5000 hours of total flight experience.
• Valid American Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Competent decision-making skills in difficult situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
