Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
  • You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.
  • Managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
  • Designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write
  • well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 - 10 years work experience.
  • Proven hands-on Software Development experience
  • Proven working experience in Java development
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience in the Spring Framework

Job Title: Product Owner

Location: Lagos (with flexible work options)

What you’ll spend your time doing

  • Thinking outside of the box to translate our user and business’ needs into a strategy and roadmap for our product
  • Leading a cross-functional squad of engineering, design, architecture as well as partnering with commercial and operations to drive the product development process
  • Own the vision for the squad, whilst maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog in order to deliver impact to the customer as quickly as possible
  • Track and measure product progress plus communicating any blockers and needs, on behalf of the squad during sessions with senior stakeholders
  • Working alongside other product owners and engineering leads to problem solve and prioritise work

Requirements
You may join us if you have:

  • 2-3 years’ of experience driving the development and go-to-market of a customer-facing product with a delightful user experience
  • A distinctive skill for turning incomplete, conflicting or ambiguous inputs into solid, prioritised action plans
  • An obsession with continuous product improvement, optimising for shipping a portfolio of small, medium and large releases
  • An entrepreneurial attitude towards problems – willingness to do what it takes to ensure success for the product and your team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems and our solutions
  • Dev Ops experience is a bonus
  • Leadership experience-interpersonal skills, conflict management etc

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

What you’ll spend time doing

  • Performing functional, negative, regression and error handling tests on developed and updated applications, and filing any defects in a timely manner
  • Reviewing requirement specifications to design and develop test plans based upon functional and design specifications
  • Evaluating newer tools / technologies to continue enhancing automation framework
  • Creating automated tests to be part of the build verification tests

Requirements
You may join us if you have:

  • A university degree in any subject
  • 2-3 years’ experience automation testing in a production environment
  • Knowledge of web / API / automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Artillery)
  • Experience testing REST APIs, and familiarity with other architecture styles / APIs
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, within and outside database environment
  • Experience working in a CI / CD environment, and working with collaborative code versioning tools
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
