Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling project and operational costs to ensure financial efficiency and compliance with budgets.
• This role plays a key part in supporting management decision-making through accurate cost reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project and operational costs against approved budgets
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses on a regular basis
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams
• Maintain cost control systems, records, and documentation
• Support audits and financial reviews as required.
• Track commitments, expenditures, and accruals to ensure accurate cost visibility
• Review invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for cost accuracy and compliance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficiency initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Cost Controller, Cost Analyst, or similar role
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial management systems (ERP experience is an advantage)
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
• Experience in hospitality
• Knowledge of project cost control and reporting standards.
