Crane Operator at Nigerdock

Nigerdock is a leading Nigerian maritime group with operations in port terminal services, ship repairs and EPC fabrication. The company is located at Snake Island Integrated Free Zone in the main port of Lagos and serves customers in the shipping, logistics, marine and energy sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

To set up cranes, operate it and the hoists.
Understands and follows all safety traffic rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the job.
Use the Crane for the functions which had been prepared and determined by the direct superior.
Moving materials around site with 80-ton to 200-ton crane according to a plan or schedule approved by authorised lifting engineer.
Monitoring crane stability and load weights.
To keep and update maintenance and activity log.
Working with banksman to ensure site safety and successfully loading and offloading of materials.

Requirements

Holding Heavy equipment driver licences and qualify to operate Crane in various capacities from 80 Ton to 200 Ton
Certification in operating Crane is a mandatory
At least five (5) years of field experience with the Crane.
