Laurelton Global Resources Limited - Our client, a newly established Daycare/Preschool located in Abuja, is recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Daycare Assistant Location: Abuja Job Description

We are looking to employ childcare Assistants with knowledge of Early Childhood development and a great deal of patience.

Responsibilities The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Taking care of, supervising children and ensuring their safety
Assisting children with hygiene, preparing their meals and serving/feeding them
Changing diapers
Encouraging physical activities indoors and outdoors
Maintaining records of child progress and reporting to parents

Qualifications

A minimum of SSCE/OND certificate
Certificate in childcare training and at least 3 years experience working in childcare setting.

Job Title: Nursery Teacher Location: Abuja Qualifications

Minimum qualification is NCE, preferably in Early Childhood Education with at least 2 years teaching experience in a Nursery Setting.
Certificate in Montessori Education will be an added advantage

Requirements:

Sound written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
Ability to interact with children
Ability to create a fun and safe environment
A good level of computer literacy

Job Title: Nursery Assistant Location: Abuja Qualification

Minimum qualification is SSCE/OND certificate with a minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar setting.

Requirements:

Sound written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
Ability to interact with children
Ability to create a fun and safe environment
A good level of computer literacy

Job Title: Daycare/Nursery School Manager Location: Abuja Job Summary

Daycare/Nursery Manager who is a team player and loves to work with children.

Responsibilities The responsibilities include but not limited to the following;

Help to develop teaching/learning goals for the center and its Teachers
Make an input to and ensure that teachers deliver the curriculum
Create a positive learning environment including resources based on child-directed learning
Build and maintain good and open communication with Children, Families and Staff
Ensure the learning environment is safe, clean and hygienic
Collaborate with teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child.

Qualifications

The Minimum Qualification required is NCE in Early Childhood Education with 3-4 years experience as a Nursery Manager.
Certificate in Montessori education will be an added advantage.

Skills:

Sound written and verbal communication skills
A good level of Computer literacy
A good understanding Early years learning framework
Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills.
