Job Description

• Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust and owners of Trust TV, Trust Radio and other titles, is one of Nigeria’s leading multimedia companies. We are looking for a highly competent, motivated, and results-driven Data Analyst to join our team.
• The Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to support informed decision-making, identify emerging trends, and promote continuous improvement across the organization.
• The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Responsibiities
As Data Analyst the candidate will:

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources for analysis.
• Develop and apply statistical models and analytical methods to uncover insights.
• Identify patterns, correlations, and trends to guide strategic business decisions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics.
• Recommend and implement improvements in data collection and analysis processes.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Explore new opportunities to use data analytics to enhance overall business performance.
• Design and produce clear, visually engaging reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into practical business actions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout all stages of analysis.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; relevant certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to convert data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis or a similar role, preferably within the media industry.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and analytics software.
