Preston Associates International Development is a Nigerian-based organization that provides evidence for improved development outcomes through research and specialized MEL support services. We work with international and domestic non-governmental organizations, national and state level government agencies/parastatals as well as bilateral and multilateral organizations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations
• Set up and maintain automated data processes
• Conduct qualitative interviews
• Develop codebooks based on transcripts
• Code interview transcripts according to standard qualitative methodologies
• Conduct thematic analyses
• Write reports
• Leverage data collection platforms/software and track instruments
• Develop and support reporting processes
• Monitor and audit data quality
• design analysis plan and analyze survey data
• Perform other related duties as assigned and requested.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate Degree with honors and possibly a Master's / Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field such as (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering,
• Experience in mixed-methods research
• Experience with research data entry.
• Experience in varied health care settings is preferred.
• Experience with the public in a service-related or occupational role preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in quantitative analysis,
• Master’s Degree in Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, or related field.
• Proficiency in using qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo or Atlas.ti

Required Skills:

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional learning agility
• Knowledge of at least one major programming language (C++, C#, Java) or F#.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
