Job Description

• Data analyst and Business Intelligence specialist is responsible for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues, oversee as well as enhance of our business intelligence services.
• To do well in this role you need to have eagle’s eyes for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases

Responsibilities

• Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Provide quality assurance of imported data.
• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
• Helping to develop reports and analysis.
• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper/ Upper credit from an accredited university or college in Statistics, Mathematics and other numerical courses.
• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Understanding of addressing metadata standards.
• 2 - 4 years’ work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Knowledge of machine learning software tools like R and Python will be an added advantage.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
