Role Summary

• A leading bank is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for building, securing, automating, and maintaining the bank’s infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and deployment processes.
• The role ensures high system availability, security, and regulatory compliance for mission-critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for banking applications
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
• Enforce security best practices, vulnerability management, and access control
• Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles
• Support compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, internal IT controls)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and system security
• Experience in financial or enterprise systems is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
