Job Title: Volunteer - People and Change Management

Location:
Abuja

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the recruitment and selection process of employees; schedule and conduct interviews, training and development internally and externally with the Human Resource (HR) Officer
  • Develop proposals when required for new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement profit and non-profit projects in the Division
  • Support clients in handling their behavioural change
  • management process
  • Work with the HR officer to optimise the Organisation's workforce internally and externally i.e. DCP's clients
  • Design courses tailored to suit the training needs of clients
Knowledge and Competencies:
  • Good knowledge of standard change management methodologies

Qualifications

Job Title: Volunteer - Legal Department

Location:
Abuja

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • To send out initial correspondence to individuals who contact us to seek help
  • To assist with the profitably management of various legal projects
  • To compile information from correspondence from clients, and if necessary from the family/legal team/Foreign Office and other bodies in order to make an informed summary of the individual‘s current case
  • To enter and maintain accurate information about cases and contacts in databases and archives
  • To present a simplified summary of cases to the casework team at a weekly review meeting, providing specific information on the status and vulnerability of the client
  • Drafting responses to everyone who contacts us for help including, with the support of the caseworkers, generic advice and referrals to other organisations and lawyers
  • To carry out ad hoc legal research to assist the caseworkers
  • Drafting agreement as required for new and existing contacts/clients.
  • There will be occasions where the Legal Intern will be required to carry out additional tasks for the policy team, but the nature of these jobs will be dependent on the needs of the policy team at the time

Job Title: Volunteer - Tax and Audit Division

Location:
Abuja

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare accounts and financial records as may be required and develop business networks for financial, tax and auditing jobs
  • Collect and analyse data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies in client’s financial and tax audits assignments;
  • Confer with company officials about financial and regulatory matters in financial & tax audits assignments;
  • Examine and evaluate financial information systems, recommend controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity in financial & tax audit assignments;
  • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions;
  • Prepare detailed reports on financial & tax audit findings;
  • Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus income, and expenditures;
  • Conduct extensive market research, and continuous gathering of information to keep the division abreast of current industry trends;

System Administration:
  • Manage all information systems infrastructure and security as well as implementation of network upgrades;
  • Ensure systems/ servers are always up, running and backed up;
  • Develop software solutions using IT Tools for all work processes for both internal and external clients;
  • Ensure 24/7 service availability of mobile media content and infrastructures;
  • Ensure that all Service Level Agreements are in place and adhered to by technical services team to the business;
  • Implement IT tools and management infrastructure as approved by Management;
  • Ensure comprehensive digital branding and online publicity of DCP on all social networking sites;
  • Identify and implement necessary technology changes or upgrades;
  • Significantly upgrade technological performance in line with the overall company strategy.
Web Application Development:
  • To develop Web-based Applications for internal and external clients;
  • To maintain existing applications for internal and external clients.
Graphic Designing:
  • Assist the Engagement Manager in designing solutions that have a high visual impact;
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client's objectives;
  • To concurrently manage more than one design brief at a time and allocate the relevant amount of time accordingly.
Business Development:
  • To generate new concepts and develop business proposals and concept notes
  • Consolidate business development initiatives and manage clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
