EdgeBase Technologies, registered in Nigeria and also in the United States of America, is a company that specializes in the distribution of IT hardware. It manages a well organized and committed distribution network operation for computing equipment. We are recruiting to fill the position below:   Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Lagos Purpose of the Job

• To break new grounds on developing business opportunities within new and existing markets
• To provide the team with creative experience needed to gain competitive advantage
• To act as an advocate on behalf of Edgebase Technologies in maintaining business relationships with clients.

Job Description/Requirements

• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and sourcing for new customers Via meetings,calls and emails.
• Gathering market and customer information and providing customers with quotations.Provide at least market feedback on future buying trends.
• Keeping up with product knowledge especially for products in stock.
• Visiting potential customers for new business.
• Collect receivable for all account managed by you and manage monthly receivable.

Person Specification

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in relating with clients in the IT world
• Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience with the drive to achieve more.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written in relating with both staff and clients
• Proficiency in the use of MS office tools (Word, Excel e.t.c)
• Have the ability to multitask and work to meet tight deadlines.
