Job Summary

• Tyeeli New Energy Company is seeking qualified EHS & Mine Safety Officers to support its Mineral Exploration and Processing operations in Wara-Ngaski.
• The successful candidates will champion occupational health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations while promoting a safe and sustainable work environment for all site personnel.

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans in compliance with local and international mining standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure the use of proper PPE and enforce safety measures across mining and processing operations.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and support compliance with environmental and occupational health standards.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks for site workers to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Mining Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an added advantage.
• Candidates available for immediate resumption is highly soughted.
• 2–5 years’ proven experience in HSE or Mine Safety roles, preferably in the mining,mineral processing,contruction or manufacturing industry.
• Solid knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, construction safety procedures, mining safety regulations, and best practices.

Salary
N1,800,000 - N2,000,000 / Annum.
