Electrical Maintenance Manager in a Plastic Manufacturing Company

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Manager
Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of electrical technicians to ensure all electrical maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule electrical maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Should be able to do maintenance on drives and electronic cards.
• Should have strong fundamental knowledge of electrical and electronics.
• Should have exposure to ERP and MS office.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years work experience as supervisor in Injection molding Electrical maintenance department.
• Should have hands of experience on trouble shooting of control circuit faults.
• Should have worked on trouble shooting of PLC machines.
