Job Title: HVAC Supervisor

Location: Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receives oral or written work requests and sets priorities
  • Assigns personnel to jobs
  • Reviews all work orders before and after completion
  • Maintains budget, records and files, and prepares reports
  • Supervises major overhaul or installation of environmental control systems to assure that work is carried out according to plans and specifications
  • Conducts a quality check of work in progress or upon completion to assure acceptability
  • Oversees repair and replacement of faulty thermostats, wiring and controls, and compressors
  • Reviews the work of contractors for adherence to plans and specifications and for quality assurance
  • Informs staff in the proper use of tools, and proper work procedures
  • Keeps records of work orders, inventory and expenditures
  • Estimates and orders needed equipment and supplies
  • Determines the appropriate HVAC equipment
  • Designs air flow control systems
  • Designs modifications to existing systems to achieve efficient operation
  • Reviews plans and specifications for new construction to determine compatibility with existing equipment or acceptability of design
  • Coordinates work with other trades as needed
  • Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested
  • Recommends persons to be hired, disciplined, discharged, or promoted under his supervision

Qualifications

  • SSCE or National Diploma (ND) or has Successfully completed technical school or completion of HVAC apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Person Specification
Our ideal Candidates must possess the following;

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct supervisory HVAC service experience. Considerable experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of HVAC and related environmental control system.
  • Problem-solving skills (HVAC related); incumbently plans and carries out successive steps and resolves problems and deviations in accordance with instructions and accepted practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within and outside of the organisation to obtain and relay factual information.
  • Able to work inside heated, well-lighted building and outside where temperature extremes can exist.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing and reaching.
  • Requires to exert physical effort, e.g., transporting materials or equipment or lifting, moving, carrying object less than 30KG.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Descriptions

  • Assist Maintenance Manager for the updating of the Maintenance Plans, may involve procedures drafting, drawings issuance, studies performance, spare parts identification reviews, tools reviews, documentation filing, binding or data capture in computerized systems.
  • Supports the maintenance team as requested in areas of own speciality, including drafting working procedures, maintenance programmes, and providing associated logistic support. As instructed, develops maintenance methods tools in own area of competence, analyses the works and practices, and suggests ways of optimization.
  • Performs technical studies in his field of competence as instructed in view of improving performance or upgrading the facilities.
  • Follow-up the technical problems raised, follow-up the technical and contractual files, as instructed, follows up the warranty claims and the implementation of the corrective actions.
  • Performs equipment performance analysis; develop and put in place enhanced condition monitoring programmes
  • Provides assistance and logistic support as required for the provision of resources: vendors, additional manpower, services, tools, spare parts, and other materials.
  • Coordinates as required the repairs required to be subcontracted outside.
  • Attends materials repairs or inspection in the in Contractors facilities.
  • Follow-up the spare parts, report anomalies and initiate suitable action in order to prevent shortage.
  • Supervise receipt of materials on a technical point of view.
  • Maintains and updates the technical documentation
  • Performs periodic and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • For equipment beyond repair (economical and technical), propose replacement strategy and budget.
  • Closely co-ordinate the decision making for the new equipment, prepare Service scope, required resources. Execute and close out the replacement Service.
  • Issue Return of Experience (REX) document for critical and unique modifications / problems or challenges faced.

Qualifications /Experiences Required

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Additional study in HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge in: HVAC systems - Technology, Engineering, Maintenance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as HVAC Engineer.

 

 

 

Job Title: Design Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

  • Electrical Design Engineer in the design of the electrical system like earthling, lighting, cabling, preparation of single line diagram, communication, fire alarm etc. including system calculations and drawing preparation.

Job Duties

  • Plans and schedules assigned work and determines staffing needs to meet the project milestones and assumes responsibility for meeting man-hour budget and project schedules for all work assigned to the group or subordinate personnel
  • Monitors work for compliance with approved design standards and to provide for efficient and quality design, reliable plant operation and economy.
  • Plans, Schedules, conducts and co-ordinates with minimal supervision.
  • Receives technical guidance from Group Leader, Design Supervisor or Electrical specialists only on unusual or complex problems, performs 3D modelling extraction from 3D model 2D drafting when required.
  • Supervises and prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize the design effort.
  • Supervises and reviews quantity take-offs.
  • Reviews and defines engineering scope changes as required.
  • Endorses or prepares reports for work progress for project discipline use.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of computer applications to design work and promotes maximum and efficient use of computers.
  • Assists less experienced personnel in the performance of their assigned tasks.
  • Performs interdisciplinary checks.
  • Assists Lead Engineer in maintaining project Contract review, KPI, Change Tracking, Schedule Tracking, Productivity and dashboard reporting, Value Engineering, Lesson Learnt etc.
  • Review design documents, Subcontractors/ Vendor documents for technical compliance.
  • Performs technical audits as and when required.
  • Prepares, reviews or monitors project controls, cost estimates, quantity take offs and manpower requirement.
  • Gives on-the-job training, promotes development of subordinates, evaluates and counsels assigned personnel.

Requirements

  • B.Sc, B.Tech / HND or M.Sc. (or its equivalent) in Electrical Engineering from a reputable and accredited higher institution of learning.
  • Minimum of 5 years post NYSC experience working in same capacity and industry
  • Must be a registered member of COREN & NSE.
  • Candidate must have expertise in AutoCAD and Revit as an added advantage
  • Candidate must have 5 years' relevant previous experience in similar role. 

 

 

 

Job Title: Plumbing Supervisor

Location: Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of plumbing expenditures, and procedures for plumbing systems maintenance.
  • Estimates material and labour.
  • Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.
  • Maintains time, payroll, and material records and submits reports as required.
  • Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies, and plumbing codes.
  • Ensures budgetary guidelines are met; prioritizes expenditures to stay within budget and assists in the preparation of capital and operations budgets.
  • Interprets University and department policies to assigned personnel, enforces safety regulations, and adheres to proper codes and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Trade Test certificate, Nabteb or SSCE
  • 3 - 5 years work experience.
  • Adopt knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Management (HSE)
  • Proven experience in plumbing services
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at different levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment or independently, flexibility to adapt to changing needs/situations.
  • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the plumbing trade.
  • Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes.
  • Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the mechanics of operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, heaters, and other plumbing components.
  • Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems.

Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Ikeja - Lagos
Reports To: Admin Officer
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • To assist the company with all transport-related duties, dropping and picking up staff, collecting various packages, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel-time and locations travelled to.
  • You should also be able to perform routine checks on the company vehicle. Ensure that all transportation duties are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Ultimately, our ideal top-performing drivers should be able to ensure that addresses and other transportation details are correct before undertaking any pick-up or drop-off duties.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Practice safe driving Skills
  • Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
  • Follow all state and national road safely regulations and standards
  • Accurately follows routes, maps, and directions
  • Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
  • Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
  • Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
  • Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
  • Keeping the company vehicle clean of debris and clutter, properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
  • Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle€™s coming and goings.
  • Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
  • Replacing oil, filling gas tank, general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
  • Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo passenger reports

  • When necessary collect payments, document amount, and offer receipts of vehicle related expenses.
