Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Lokoja, Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an ICAN-certified candidate to work as Executive Assistant to the MD of Emmanuel Bakeries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings while ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of commitments.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, presentations, and other business documents, leveraging your accounting expertise to provide valuable insights.
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather data, prepare reports, and follow up on action items from management meetings.
  • Support the MD in strategic planning activities and special projects by conducting research and analysis as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations.
  • Handle confidential correspondence, documents, and communication on behalf of the MD with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in budget planning, financial analysis, and monitoring of key performance indicators for various business units.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Statistics
  • Must possess Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) certification
  • Age: Not more than 35 years
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Membership in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
