We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Factory Operations Manager

Location: New Makun City, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • To oversee all factory operations and ensure optimal utilization of resources (labor, raw materials, production materials, utilities, etc.) so that the factory consistently operates at 95% capacity while meeting quality, safety, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily factory operations to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure all factors of production are available and efficiently utilized.
  • Monitor and maintain 95% operating capacity.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and develop production supervisors and factory staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Resource Planning:

  • Coordinate procurement and availability of raw materials, consumables, and utilities.
  • Manage workforce scheduling and allocation.

Process Optimization:

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, and throughput.

Reporting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.

Performance Metrics

  • Factory operating capacity ≥ 95%.
  • Compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Reduction in downtime and waste.
  • On-time delivery of production targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in factory or plant operations (preferably in
  • manufacturing).

Salary 
N700,000 - N800,000 Monthly (gross).
