Job Description

• As a Field Officer at Bluewhale Multiservices Nigeria Limited, You would be responsible for overseeing on-site operations for swimming pool and water fountain construction projects.
• Your role involves monitoring daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and reporting progress to project supervisors.
• You would coordinate with site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and execution of tasks.
• You would also manage materials and equipment on-site, enforce health and safety protocols, and serve as a key link between the field and the office to support the successful completion of each project.

Expected Roles
Site Supervision:

• Monitor daily activities on the construction site to ensure work is progressing as planned.
• Ensure workers are following the design specifications, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Check that the materials used are up to standard and used efficiently.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepared daily or weekly site reports on progress, delays, and challenges.
• Document site activities with photos, notes, and logs.
• Report site conditions or issues to the project manager or supervisor.

Material & Equipment Monitoring:

• Keep track of materials delivered and ensure proper usage and storage.
• Report shortages or request supplies when needed.
• Monitor the condition and usage of tools and equipment on-site.

Quality Control:

• Inspect workmanship and verify that pool/fountain installations are done according to blueprints and design plans.
• Raise concerns if work is substandard or deviates from the plan.

Liaison Duties:

• Act as a link between the site and the main office or project manager.
• Communicate client instructions or feedback from the office to the team on-site.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for smooth operations.

Team Coordination:

• Communicate instructions to site workers and subcontractors.
• Help resolve basic issues or conflicts on-site.
• Ensure laborers follow standard procedures and remain productive.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety regulations and ensure workers wear protective gear (helmets, boots, gloves, etc.).
• Identify and report hazards or risks on-site.
• Support any emergency response actions if accidents happen.

Others:

• Monitor plumbing and pump installation.
• Check waterproofing and finishing quality.
• Ensure that technical equipment (filters, lights, jets) are installed properly.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
