Job Title: French Language Teacher

Job Description

• We're seeking the services of a French Teacher to join our team. The ideal applicant will be able to interact with students in an efficient manner and possess a solid command of the French language and culture.
• He/ She will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to students of all levels, from novices to experts. We would love to communicate with you if you are fluent in French or if you are a native speaker!

Responsibilities

• Assessing the capabilities of the students and developing appropriate lesson plans and lesson objectives.
• Pronouncing words and phrases and explaining their meanings to students.
• Conducting research to develop appropriate learning materials, language games, and other teaching aids.
• Using both in-class activities and online resources and platforms to create a blended learning environment.
• Teaching the various tiers of French to students.
• Developing and grading informal and formal written and oral assessments.
• Engaging in feedback sessions with students and providing extra support or enrichment activities as required.
• Making recommendations to students for further learning and development.
• Organizing conversational classes and fun events where students can engage with French culture.
• Updating records and handling any other assigned administrative duties.

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in French Language or Literature.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree in Education or a teaching certificate.
• Patience and resilience.
• Innovative thinking.
• Good administration skills.
• Proven proficiency in oral and written French.

Salary
N120,000 - N300,000 / month.
