The organization is recruiting to fill the following positions on STEER project;
Job Title: Assistant HES Officer
Job Description
The job will primarily focus on; support to beneficiaries in the
Project communities on market assessment which will include gender
iterative economic opportunity analyses, identification of pro-poor
high-growth value chains, building financial literacy skills of
households, incorporating basic market principles, facilitate skills
trainings, income generation activities , manage group savings programs,
household economic assessments, support to households to develop and
scale-up businesses on community-based savings and loan schemes,
(S&L) for caregivers and heads of households and other duties as
assigned by management.
Qualifications
- The candidate should have an OND/HND/BSC Degree in Economics or any
other related field with work experience in the field of Household
Economic Strengthening.
- He/she should have worked with an NGO with interest in development
issues and also the ability to work across multiple sub agreements and
partners.
- He /she should be able to assess priorities and handle multiple
tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines with attention to detail and
quality.
- Fluency in English and Hausa will be an added advantage
- Must reside in Kano State.
Job Title: Assistant Monitoring and Evaluation OFFFICER
Job Description:
Coordinate Data Collection, Data Quality Management, Analysis and State level Reporting:
Participate in data collection and transfer in to registers,
reporting templates, data bases, etc.) to track Health and Child
Survival projects, ensure the programme database is updated regularly,
Plan, forecast and facilitate the production and supply of M&E tools
and materials to supported sites, Support Programme Supervision,
Monitoring and Evaluation, support Documentation, Reporting, Knowledge
Sharing and Effective Feedback Mechanism, support coordination of health
projects monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual reviews and reports as
required, Participate in dissemination of program information to
communities, children, and other stakeholders through a regular feedback
mechanism and other duties as assigned by management.

other related field with work experience in the field of Household
Economic Strengthening.

Job Title: Assistant NUTRITION OFFFICER
Job Description:
The
incumbent of the post will be responsible for professional technical
contribution to project design, planning, administration. Monitoring and
evaluation of Nutrition programme/project activities, data analysis and
progress reporting, and commitment for enhancement of teamwork and
capacity building. in support of achievement of planned objectives of
the work plan, aligned with STERR goals and strategy, conduct food
demonstration, infant and young child feed training to Caregivers,
collaborate with primary health facilities to provide health services,
establishment of support groups and training PCV on how to conduct one
on one services and other duties as assigned by management.
