Job Title: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer (Tyre Manufacturing Factory)

Location: Lekki Free Zone, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace in our tyre manufacturing factory.
• The successful candidate will support the implementation of safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
• Monitor waste management, chemical handling, and environmental controls
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate emergency response drills and safety training
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Good knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• 3–5 years’ HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is an advantage
