Primary Purpose of Position

• WTS Energy is looking to recruit an Industrial Relations Officer for operation offshore nigeria.
• The Industrial Relations Adviser is responsible for the provision of high quality industrial and employee relations advice and services .
• Equitable and pragmatic resolutions to disputes and major industrial issues are achieved by exercising sound judgement under broad direction, based on relevant experience, discipline knowledge and competence.
• Development and implementation of initiatives to improve industrial relations and human resource management practices in the Public Sector and the provision of a high level of effective and accurate advice and services on these issues.
• The Industrial Relations officer is responsible for conducting high level negotiations dealing with important industrial relations matters, including Enterprise Bargaining negotiations and the provision of industrial advocacy services before Industrial Relations and other Tribunals.
• The Industrial Relations Officer conducts and/or co-ordinates industrial relations projects and contributes to policy development and implementation in relation to industrial and employee relations matters.

• Relevant working experience in oil and gas industry with background in Industrial Relations would be an advantage.
• People’s management minded attitude.
• Key skill experience in CBA negotiations, dealing with PENGASSAN, NUPENG, Martime Workers Union etc.
