Job Title: Field Electrical Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Details

  • We need a Field Electrical Engineer who will direct and oversee electrical engineering projects at construction sites and other fields, resolve technical issues and ensure that work is completed according to specifications.
  • He/she will also be responsible for conducting tests and maintaining electrical systems, including final inspections prior to job completion.
  • The preferred candidates should be able to balance project management and engineering tasks ranging from designing electrical plans to monitoring contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial or domestic purpose
  • Conduct electrical progress work inspections on regular basis
  • Ensure quality of, and compliance to parameters and codes preceding turnover to client establishment
  • Manage clients and vendors in need of electrical installations and tests verifications
  • Inspect permanent plant components and implement procedures to ensure project drawings and standards are attained
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements by coordinating installation, maintenance, documentation, support and testing activities
  • Supervise teams of younger technicians

Requirements

  • First degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in managing electrical engineering projects
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Must possess relevant certifications and professional engineering license
  • Proficient in the use of design and calculation software

Job Title: Field Automation Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Details

  • We need a Field Automation Engineer who will design testing procedures for software applications, analyze the functionality of applications, design automated tests to validate performance, identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
  • The preferred candidate should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for details, and an excellent project management skill.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately report technical conditions and information
  • Interface with customers and train them in use and repair of TRUMPF machines in a complete and organized manner
  • Install and demonstrate TRUMPF machines and automation systems primarily at customer locations
  • Must be physically
  • Assist other Field Engineers as directed
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine and automation related problems
  • Follow internal procedures and external standards

Requirements

  • First degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or its equivalent
  • Relevant experience in computer software and file management procedures
  • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in engineering automation
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Must possess relevant certifications and professional engineering license
  • Proficient in the use of design and calculation software
