A reputable and active operator in the upstream sector of Nigerian OiI and Gas industry based in Lagos, with field operations in the Niger Delta, plans to increase production level by 8,000 bopd in the immediate future. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: General Manager Location: Lagos Reports to: The Managing Director Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will run the producing portfolio with production operations and engineering managers reporting to him or her

Requirements Following are necessary attributes of a good candidate:

• A strong first Degree in any of the following areas of Engineering- Mechanical, Chemical and Petroleum, obtained from a recognized University. A Higher Degree in the above disciplines will be a major advantage.
• At least 15 - 20 years of experience in a major exploration and producing company, with proven general abilities in all aspects of the business with deep knowledge in at least 3 of Drilling, Production engineering, Facilities engineering, Reservoir engineering and Production operations.
• Evidence of good knowledge and experience in industry Environmental, Health and Safety issues, including good knowledge of regulatory affairs.
