Urban Shelter Limited, a leading property development company with head office in Abuja and branches in many major cities in Nigeria and abroad is desirous of engaging the services of an Internal Auditor.


Job Title: INTERNAL AUDITOR
Position Responsibilities
·         Carry out independent evaluation adequacy, efficiency and success of internal control system
•             Review all records and information related to expenditures, cost, taxes and internal controls to determine if a company is secure and has a strong financial foundation.
·         Evaluate management procedures .and operations to ensure the company is operating as efficiently as possible while remaining within established corporate polices and government regulations.
•             Give opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the whole system of internal control.
·         Examine financial records, information storage systems and internal controls to ensure there are no indications of mismanagement, unnecessary waste of resources or fraud.

Job QUALIFICATIONS
•             Bachelor's/HND degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
•             A minimum of 5 years cognate experience preferably in a well organized corporate organization
•             A master's degree and proficiency in relevant computer software will be an added advantage
•             Membership of relevant professional bodies
