Job Title: Account Officer
Location: Lagos
Requirements
- HND/BSc with 3 to 5 years work experience
- ACA is an added advantage
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, Team Building & Leadership and Creative problem Solving
- Financial structuring, budgetary analysis, cost control, Balance Sheet, P&L statements and Cash flow reports
- Accounting software and MS office
- Audit experience not compulsory but added advantage
- Ability to process and resolve Tax matters
- Experience in Contracts and financial advisory
- Possess knowledge of basic operating systems
- Good statistical and analytical skills
- Financial and Strategic Planning
Responsibilities- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports,
- Perform account reconciliations and analyses,
- Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement
- Forecast and plan resource requirements
- Lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.
- Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles,
- Analyse and prepare financial statements,
- Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits,
- customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them,
- Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues,
