Job Title: Junior Import & Export Coordinator

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Jnr. Import & Export Coordinator with a good knowledge of Import and Export operations and a good understanding of shipping and logistics management.
• As a Jnr. Import & Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire import and export operations. You will coordinate import shipments, track inventory, and ensure smooth communication between suppliers, the clearing agent, and customers.
• Your technical knowledge, strong organizational, and communication skills will be put to good use as you manage the daily operations of our Supply chain and logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor shipments from the overseas suppliers to customers.
• Timely preparation of import documentation and authorization for all air and sea shipments globally.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any logistics issues.
• Monitor importation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements.
• Preparing and maintaining of delivery schedule, department reports and effective communication to all relevant departments.
• Proficient in opening Form M, Insurance, getting PAAR from the Bank and checking duty assessments.
• Track inventory levels and have smooth coordination with local clearing agencies and customs.

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or any other relevant field of study.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Import & Export function and supply chain management.
• Good judgment skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages - MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management and Logistics will be an added advantage.
