La Fayette Microfinance Bank recently received the Approval-in-Principle from the Central Bank of Nigeria to carry out microfinance services in Oyo State.

We are recruiting to fill the below position:

Job Title: Recovery Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• The Recovery Officer will be responsible for the efficient follow-up and recovery of oustanding repayments, interest and penalities on delinquent loans and to give advices and searches on documentations, registering of affidavits and other documents.

• Capacity to communicate efficiently both orally and in writing
• A very analytical and tactical mind
• Fluent in English and Yoruba
• Physically fit.
• Willingness to travel around branches.
• Capacity to investigate effectively with clients and guarantors
• Capacity to obtain information from external sources.

• A minimum of HND in any discipline.
• A valid drivers license and ability to drive will be an added advantage.
• Practical knowledge of micro/small business and market environment will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar position.
• A minimum of 1 year working experience in a microfinance or commercial bank.
