non-governmental organization promoting Reproductive Health (RH) in
Nigeria.
As a full member of the International Planned Parenthood
Federation (IPPF), PPFN has expanded the scope of its programs beyond
family planning to cover broad reproductive health, emphasizing the
needs of adolescents and young people and safe motherhood.
We seek suitably qualified candidates for the vacant position of:
Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Ref No: SCM 2015
Responsibilities
- The overall responsibility to manage, organize, control and
coordinate all supply chain management activities to ensure a sustained
availability of anti-malaria commodities at the health facility.
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy with 4 years hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics
- Masters in Business Administration or MPH is an added advantage
- Advanced computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office Suite: MS Words, Excel, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of NGO operations particularly those in
reproductive health including family planning, maternal and child
health, sexual health and women development, program development and
management.
- Familiarity with varied socio-cultural issues as they relate to SRH
in the country and sensitivity to cross-cultural issues and concerns.
- Demonstrable capacity to develop methodologies and provide support in key thematic areas.
Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Ref No: M&EM2015
Responsibilities
- The purpose of this position is to coordinate technical management
for the design and implementation of the malaria’s project M& E
system working closely with other project staff
Requirements
- Degree in Applied Social Sciences or other relevant professional fields.
- Five years relevant work experience including no less than three years in NGO (preferably in SRH).
- Masters degree will be an advantage.
- Excellent contextual, analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
- Team leadership and team playing qualities/experience.
- Familiarity with key national and international implementing support and donor organization in SRH.
- Computer literacy skills: Competency in MS-Word, Excel, SPSS,DHIS
- Sensitive and caring but firm and decisive in managing senior-level staff.
- Strong knowledge of NGO operations particularly those in
reproductive health including family planning, maternal and child
health, sexual health and women development, program development and
management.
- Good research experience (design, data collection and analysis, and survey methods).
- Familiarity with varied socio-cultural issues as they relate to SRH
in the country and sensitivity to cross-cultural issues and concerns.
- Demonstrable capacity to develop methodologies and provide support in key thematic areas.
