Job Title: Fund Raiser (Investment Company)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Raise funds for our cause and regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets
  • Research potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to position our organization to them
  • Assist in brainstorming and creating new methods to raise funds for our organization
  • Leverage technology and social media where possible to improve fundraising activities
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events meant to raise funds and coordinate activities relating to it.
  • Create marketing materials, like flyers and brochures, to be used for the promotion of events and other fundraising pushes
  • Analyze the performance of events and other fundraising activities for effectiveness and to identify areas where money can be saved
  • Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications
  • Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with other organizations and groups within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities

Job Requirements

  • BSc., MSc. Degree in a related discipline
  • At least 6 years of fundraising experience
  • Exemplary communication abilities and outgoing, yet poised personality
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Quick thinker and ability to make decisions under pressure

 

 

Job Title: Front Liner (Waiter and Waitress)

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers warmly and politely
  • Serving food and beverages to customers
  • Directing customers to the table
  • Setting and cleaning table and service areas
  • Presenting menu and providing detailed information when asked
  • Informing customers about the day’s special, if any
  • Taking accurate food and drinks orders
  • Providing excellent customer service to guests
  • In some cases, offering food and wine suggestions
  • Processing cash and credit card payments
  • Clearing the tables or counters after use
  • Dealing with and handling customer complaints
  • Reporting any damages to the manager
  • Attending service briefings before each meal.

Job Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc Degree
  • 2 years work experience
  • Have a proven experience as a waiter / waitress
  • Be attentive and patient with customers
  • Possess a good communication skill- both written and verbal
  • Be neat and possess a good dress sense
  • Have a relatively high energy level and keeps a good attitude
  • Be reliable and honest
  • Have a good understanding about food hygiene and service
  • Be a good team player
  • Should be welcoming, responsible and intelligent
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Should be familiar with drinks and nice menu.

 

 



Job Title: Pastry Chef

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide variety of pastriessuch as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
  • Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently
  • Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
  • Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Organizing and leadership skills
  • Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
  • Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts, Pastry-making, Baking or relevant field
  • Good in all kinds of pastries
  • Must reside on the Island and environs.
