We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Area Sales Manager Location: Cross River Department: Sales and Distribution Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager Specific Targets/Objectives

  • Achieve Sales value and volume for his area.
  • Make product available in every area within his locations by expanding the distribution of products.
  • Make available New products or brands as per company strategy plan
  • Optimum stock to be maintained with all his distributors within his area.
  • Train all sales force within his area
Responsibilities
  • Achieves the Area’s revenue volume and value targets for each SKU.
  • Leads the sub-ordinates, inclusive of managing performance, Mentoring, hiring and career development.
  • Responsible for the Area’s forecasting and sales tracking.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of area sales and profitability.
  • Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth by focusing on secondary sales.
  • Directs the selling activities within the Area, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
  • Ability to identify business development opportunities within the area.
Education and Experience Required
  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience of sales in FMCG
  • Age: Maximum age limit of 40 years
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Large team handling capability
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position.

  • Supporting the marketing team with any Graphic Design requirements.
  • Designing all the company’s graphics including all sales and marketing materials such as catalogues, online banners and branded materials.
  • Managing all marketing activities for the company within the marketing department.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization.
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding production of materials ensuring these are taking into consideration with internal deadlines.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Job Requirements
  • B.Sc or HND graduate of any discipline.
  • Resident of Lagos only.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
  • Skilled in critical thinking, analysis and problem solving.
  • Be able to follow and interpret both written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Team player and communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Be able to transmit, receive and manage electronic files.
  • Degree in Graphic Design or similar field is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple deadlines.
  • Maintain archive of images, photos of previous work.
  • Must have the knowledge and experience in working with and communicating with customers.
