Job Title: Legal and Compliance Manager

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal & Compliance Manager to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, while effectively managing legal risks and providing sound legal advice to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of business matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments, recommending corrective actions where needed.
• Train and educate staff on legal and compliance matters to promote a culture of compliance.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, litigation, and claims.
• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); BL qualification is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
