Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are hiring a highly skilled Business Development Manager with compulsory finance industry experience to drive revenue growth, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen client relationships.
  • The ideal candidate must have a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of business development specifically within the finance sector.

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to the financial services market.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the finance ecosystem.
  • Conduct market and financial industry research to stay ahead of trends and competitors.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads specifically within the finance industry.
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals, pitches, and business plans for financial products/services.
  • Monitor sales performance and optimize strategies for improved financial gains.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide detailed reports on sales, market insights, revenue forecasts, and business performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and financial regulatory standards.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and financial stakeholders.
  • Deliver tailored financial solutions to meet client needs and enhance satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals to meet revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development within the finance industry (this is compulsory).

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and business/financial analytics platforms.
  • Ability to identify and maximize financial business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue and business development targets in the finance sector.
