Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the hotel’s revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, innovative marketing campaigns, and strong client relationship management.
  • The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing corporate accounts, promoting the event center's brand, and ensuring maximum occupancy throughout the year and banquet sales.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase room bookings, banquet sales, events, and corporate partnerships.
  • Identify new markets, business opportunities, and target clients (corporate, high-end individual event hosting prospects and Nigerians in thr diaspora.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, and event planners.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and follow-ups to secure event bookings.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high satisfaction levels for corporate and walk-in clients.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up on leads.
  • Organize client meetings, and promotional events.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the front desk or event coordinator, and the center departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communication align with the event center’s brand standards.

Marketing & Brand Promotion:

  • Create and implement marketing plans to promote the event center services, and seasonal offers.
  • Oversee digital marketing activities including social media, email marketing, website updates, and online reputation management.
  • Coordinate promotional materials, press releases, and advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and recommend strategies to improve market position.

Revenue & Performance Management:

  • Work closely with the center General Manager and Finance team to develop revenue targets and budgets.
  • Analyze sales performance data and generate regular reports.
  • Develop strategies to increase occupancy rates during low seasons.
  • Ensure optimal pricing strategies in collaboration with management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relations skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and result-driven.
  • Must have had experience working in the hospitality industry.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in event sales and marketing or hospitality business development.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality trends, OTAs, and revenue management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong digital marketing knowledge (SEO, social media, online ads).
  • Creativity in designing promotions and packages.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales/revenue targets of at least 12 events every 3 calendar months.

Salary
N300,000.00 - N400,000.00 per month.
