We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to oversee our legal affairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating legal risks.
• The ideal candidate should have a  background in the microfinance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance and support to senior management and staff
• Manage legal documentation, contracts, and agreements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements

• LL.B or LL.M in Law
• Proven track record of managing legal teams and providing strategic guidance.
• Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the microfinance sector
