Figow Oil Integrated Limited is an Oil and Gas Servicing Company in Port Harcourt majorly into the services of well intervention activities such as Surface Well testing, Pumping, Well head Maintenance, etc.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As the maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repairs, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities.
  • Maintaining machineries, pumps, tanks, valves, and planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.
  • Manage a team of workers, regularly inspect sites, execute work as necessary, maintain equipment and assign workers to various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
  • Employ, supervise and train workers.
  • Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
  • Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
  • Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work.
  • Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
  • Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.

Specific Key Areas

  • Managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities.

  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Effective budgeting and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field (highly advantageous).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance.
  • Previous managerial experience is a bonus.

  • Good understanding of the technical features of machines, equipment, and electrical systems.
