Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria Vacancy for a Rector, November 2014

This is to inform interested and suitably qualified candidates for the post of Rector, Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria that further to the advertisement on the above matter which appeared in the Daily Trust Newspaper of Monday, 25th August, 2014 and Leadership Newspaper of Tuesday, 26th August, 2014, the Governing Council of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic wishes to correct some of the requirements as follows:-


Position: Rector
(1)    Number three (3) item a (Qualities and qualifications) line 1 and 2 which stated that ‘The applicant should demonstrate Academic leadership, with a minimum of a Masters degree in any of the Science or Technology disciplines’ is hereby changed to – – with a minimum of a Masters degree, preferably in any of the Sciences or Technology disciplines”.
(2)     Item three (3) a, part of line four (4) and five (5) now deleted.
(3)     Inclusion/Addition
Age: Candidate for the post of the Rector must not be more than fifty six (56) years at the time he/she assumes duty is hereby included as number three (3) item d.
(4)     Item number three (3)c which stated ‘candidate with less than the minimum qualifications and experience and who are on salary below CONTISS14 need not apply’ now changed to ‘candidate must have spent five (5) years as a Chief Lecturer.

Submission of Application
Applications should be forwarded to the Office of the Registrar not later than 22^nd December 2014. Applicants that had earlier submitted their applications need not re-submit.
