As we expand, we are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise our production, supply chain, and distribution operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) and Plateau

About the Role

• Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational activities across our production and supply chain processes.
• You will play a key role in ensuring that operational targets are met efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while upholding the company's commitment to quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational functions, including production, warehousing, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity throughout the supply chain.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within all facilities.
• Manage, mentor, and develop teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards.
• Monitor and manage operational budgets and KPIs, reporting regularly on performance.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Solid understanding of quality control, health & safety, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant operations software and ERP systems.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operations leadership role, preferably within the agrifood, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of production, supply chain, and distribution management.
