Operations Manager at J3 Foods and Store International

J3 is an FMCG distributor. We have been in existence for over 8 years and we have branches in the followinf locations:  Lagos, Ibadan, Ogun, Ondo, and Osun state.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the outlet, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
• Monitor all outlet activities to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Work with the marketing team to create weekly and monthly plans and track progress.
• Ensure that all sales targets are being met and strategies are adjusted as needed.
• Ensure that Account Officers and Cashiers are confirming payments and accurately recording financial transactions.
• Supervise the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Officers to ensure smooth inventory management and stock control.
• Oversee loading processes to ensure goods are prepared for dispatch and stored safely.
• Ensure that stock levels are regularly checked, and inventory audits are conducted.
• Ensure the facility (including the warehouse and office area) is well-maintained and in good working condition. Coordinate any repairs, renovations, or facility maintenance needs with the HR/Admin Manager.
• Supervise, train, and manage staff including Account Officers, Cashiers, Marketers, Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Officers, and Loaders.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and report any violations to the GM.
• Monitor and support the marketing team in meeting targets for direct buyers, bulk buyers, and walk-in customers.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues escalated from the Customer Service team.
• Provide timely weekly and monthly performance reports covering sales, financial status, staff performance, all outlet activities, and issues to the GM.
• Ensure effective communication between departments (Accounts, Warehouse, Marketing, etc.) for seamless operation.
• Hold regular daily team meetings to assess progress, discuss any challenges, and provide guidance.
• Ensure proper cleanliness and safety measures are in place for the outlet premises.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to at the outlet.
• Regularly assess the workplace for any potential safety hazards and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ensure that customer service standards are maintained, and customers are handled professionally.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
