Packaging Manager in an Indigenous Cosmetics Manufacturing Company

Ekini White Tulip Consulting Limited - Our client is an indigenous Cosmetics Manufacturer of repute, over 40 years old and a significant player in the Nigerian and West African beauty/personal care markets. Her products are truly world-class creams, lotions, perfumes and has over 300 products and still counting.

The company is desirous of strengthening its operations by improving efficiency, creating an avenue for injection of fresh ideas as well as activating a plant management succession plan. In view of this and the need to position itself for the next level, it wishes to recruit the production personnel below:

Job Title: Packaging Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities for this role include managing all packaging activities, packaging-floor hands and coordinating all lines and activities
• Reports to Plant Manager.
• Ensure packaging quality assurance into operations and process.
• Packaging material planning and scheduling.
• Supervising all packaging staff in a virtually manual-operation environment.

Requirements

• HND or equivalent
• Attention to details and high quality conscious
• Supervisory and leadership skills.
• Not less than 7 years overall packaging experience in a semi- automated/manual environment, 2 as head of packaging unit
