We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement / Category Manager (Mobile and Electronics)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

• We are looking for an astute procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items within the mobile and lifestyle (electronics) categories arecost-efficient, of high quality and properly managed from end to end

Duties Include

• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Vendor sourcing and management
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any relevant field
• 3+ years of experience as a procurement/category manager in the areas of computing, mobile devices and electronics
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent sales experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
