We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Urhonigbe, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practices with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards, and costing
• Draft an appropriate service level agreement to properly evaluate the performance of suppliers, and report on this on a regular basis.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Work with internal stakeholders (HOUs/HBUs) to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment, and supplier performance evaluation

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum of an OND in any Social Science course
• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience as a Procurement Officer
• Procurement Software and Asset Software experience is an added advantage
• Age: 30 – 40.
• Computer literacy qualification is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word-processing applications
