Job Title: Professional Tailor
Location: Lekki Phase One, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Develop design for ready to wear garments, adapts existing design for garment, or copy existing design for a garment.
• Sew buttons and make buttonholes to finish the garment.
• Press garments, using a hand iron or pressing machine.
• Positions patterns of garment parts on fabric, and cuts fabric along outlines, using scissors.
• Measure customers for size, using a tape measure and records measurements.
• Perform specialized hand and machine sewing operations in the manufacture of ready-to-wear clothing, applying knowledge of garment construction fabrics.
• Alter garment and join parts, using needle and thread or sewing machine, to form a finished garment.
• Other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
• 2 - 4 years of work experience.

Salary

• N80,000 monthly.
