Program Officer at E-waste Relief Foundation (ERF)

E-waste Relief Foundation (ERF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on tackling the electronic-waste (e-waste) crisis within Nigeria and the West African sub region. We aim to bring about great relief in the effort to sanitize waste management in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Program Officer
Location: Yaba Lagos,
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential grantees and sponsors (local and international) for project funding.
• Represent the foundation in relevant industry conferences, meetings and workshops (local and international).
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for programs.
• Identify and contact new program partners for project expansion.
• Articulate, plan and execute program activities in timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct periodic program reviews and prepare reports for management and any other duties as assigned by Program Director and board of trustees.
• Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding reports.
• Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.
• Analyze and troubleshoot program challenges.
• Develop best practices to improve overall program performance.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Environmental studies, Project Management or related field.
• 1-2 years of progressive experience as a Program Officer/Coordinator in an NGO.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Experience with funded programs preferred.
• Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with project staff and other stakeholders.

Salary
NGN50,000 / Month.
