Moment for Women Alliance - We are registered women and girls' rights organization dedicated to advancing the human right of young women and girls in Nigeria. Since founded, we have positioned ourselves to secure protection for women and girls' rights, end gender-based violence, and access to health with the focus on sexual and reproductive health services, policy advocacy & inclusive governance. Job Title: Program Officer - Female 

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Officer (Female Candidates Only) to design, implement, and manage projects that advance the rights and well-being of women and girls. 
• The successful candidate will work closely with the program team, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery and impact assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs related to women’s rights, empowerment, and social justice.
• Conduct field visits and collect data for impact assessment and reporting.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Represent the organization at events, meetings, and advocacy campaigns.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of program activities.
• Support the communications team in developing content for social media and publications.
• Develop project proposals, concept notes, and reports for donors and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
• Organize and facilitate trainings, workshops, and community engagement activities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and community leaders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in program management, preferably in an NGO or nonprofit organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and graphic design tools such as CorelDRAW and Canva.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.
• Strong knowledge of women’s rights, gender equality, and community development issues.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills (experience in proposal writing is a plus).
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.

Preferred:

• Experience in advocacy and policy engagement.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools.
• Fluency in English and at least one local language.
