Job Title: Promotions Stock Controller

Key Purpose

• The key purpose of this role is to track stock levels and ensure that the supplies are sufficient to meet the demand of customers.
• Other duties include checking stock levels, ordering additional stock and updating stock records. 

Key Outputs and Responsibilities

• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
• Responsible for receiving stock items.
• Responsible for distribution of POSM items
• Work hand in hand with the Trade Marketing Team (e.g. TMR, RTMM, DM).
• Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases.
• Track shipments and address any delays.
• Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items.
• Coordinate regular inventory.
• Comparing items received against items ordered.
• Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.
• Keep updated inventory records.

Profile: Education

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in related course of study

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory management

Key attributes and competencies:

• Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or similar role.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. SAP).
• Active participation in inventory audits.
