Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities and Description

  • Order products and authorize payments
  • Manage inventory with store keeper including current stock and new deliveries
  • Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders
  • Research possible item selections
  • Purchase items physically from the market

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is often preferred. Some organizations may accept candidates with an associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving procurement strategies.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software and procurement-specific software and tools.
  • Ethical Conduct.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, laws, and best practices.
  • Interpersonal Skills.

Salary Range
N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
