We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Quality Control Analyst

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose ​

  • To ensure that finished products for dispatch meets with standards set by the government and customer requirements.

The Job

  • Supervise laboratory assistants, ensuring full adherence to standard operating procedures and maintenance of good laboratory practices to guarantee accurate and reliable results.                                                                                                                                  
  • Verify that all company products comply with internal quality benchmarks, legal standards, and customer expectations.
  • Carry out daily proximate analyses on all company products.
  • Conduct weekly quality analyses and prepare comparative reports on both company and competitor flour products.
  • Prepare chemical solutions and execute protein analyses in accordance with established protocols.
  • Analysis of raw materials, online production and communication.
  • Conduct stock-taking of laboratory equipment and reagents and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform rheological analyses on flour products.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Chemistry or Food science and Technology.

Experience:​

  • Minimum of three year cognate experience in a similar role.

The Person Must Have:​

  • Have good verbal and  written communication skills.
  • Be skilled in performing daily proximate analyses and accurate weekly competitor product evaluations.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and data presentation.
  • Possess strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control methodologies.
  • Be capable of conducting rheological analyses using standard laboratory equipment.
