Sales Driver (Sachet  or Pure Water) in a Water Packaging Company

We are a Water Packaging Company in the Hospitality Industry that produces water in sachet and bottle. We satisfy a market niche that helps us to achieve our strategic goals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Driver (Sachet  or Pure Water)

Location: Ijaye Ojokoro, Ifako-Ijaye - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Loading of truck, with the support of a motor boy or a marketing clerk, with sachet water on daily basis, a day preceding the next day sales.
• To develop new markets, as well as, maintaining the existing markets.
• Ensure “responsible driving” at all times to avert either “undue arrest” by the law enforcement agencies or
• Be ready to stay, inspect, supervise and certify the works of all stakeholders on the vehicle. For example, Motor Mechanics and other artisans working on the vehicle anytime it develops fault.
• To ensure all monies for sales are collected, on daily basis for either reporting or banking.
• To ensure customers are satisfied always.
• To ensure that the vehicle documents are valid at all times before it is being taken out for sales.
• To ensure the vehicle is properly handled and maintained.

Qualifications Required

• The ideal candidate that will be given the opportunity must know how to read and write, account for all monies collected, spent and report accurately. Academic Qualification is not a priority but a skill.
• However, a minimum qualification of WASCE / GCE “O-level” is required.

Person Specification:

• The ideal person must reside in Lagos.
• He must either be living within either Ifako-Ijaye LCDA, Ifako-Ijaye Local Government or ready to be living within the factory premise.
• He must, on a continuous basis, display commitment if not, please do not apply.
• Must be hardworking.
• Must be ready to present a reliable, dependable and verifiable person as a Guarantor.
• Possession of a mechanical apprenticeship skill is an added advantage.
• The person must be trustworthy.
• The ideal person must not be more than 45 years.
• The person must have a MINIMUM of school certificate and a MAXIMUM of National Diploma.
• He must be ready to do the extras.
• He must be ready to work from Monday to Saturday.
• He must be independent, pro-active, intelligent and a problem-solver.
• He must have excellent relationship and people management skill. Ability to relate well with law-enforcement agencies is an added advantage.
• He must be someone who requires little or no supervision.
• He must be someone with the mindset of a business owner and not that of an employee.
• He must be accountable and ready to give reports on all money received on sales.
• He must be tactful, intelligent and tenacious.
• He must be ready to do market development and enlarge company’s market on a persistent basis.
• The person MUST be fit medically to carry out his tasks.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 Monthly.
