Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Description

  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our dynamic team in successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively communicate them to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to address them proactively.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations, and solicit feedback for process improvement.
  • Facilitate post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Lead project team meetings, providing guidance, support, and direction to team members to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient utilization and allocation.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in project management, and incorporate them into project methodologies and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Must have 5-7 years experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.

Salary
N350,000 - N500,000 / Month.
