Sheltered Hope Initiative (SHI) is an NGO with the mission of eradicating homelessness in Nigeria, 1,000 persons at a time, 1 city at a time, through our communal shelter program that will help homeless Nigerian residents transition into a state of self-sufficiency by which they become valuable and contributing members of the society.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shelter Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Work Schedule: 2 weeks on/off

Role Description

• This is a part-time on-site role for a Shelter Manager at Sheltered Hope Initiative in Lagos.
• The Shelter Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shelter, managing social services for residents, providing and overseeing training and support, conducting research, implementing case management strategies.

Qualifications

• SSCE, HND or BSc graduates
• Ability to create and implement effective case management strategies
• Empathy and compassion for vulnerable populations
• Experience working in a shelter or NGO setting will be considered
• Excellent Communication and Case Management skills
• Experience in Social Services and Training
• Strong research skills

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge in the use of CRM and administrative tools
• Excellent communicator, written and spoken
• Experience in home management will be considered 
• Inventory and bookkeeping
• Able to solve problems under pressure.
• Excellent People Management Skills
• Content creation and brand image marketing 

Salary
N40,000 / month.
